What is PharmV?

PharmV - ONCO Pharmacovigilance Conference will be an event that will bring the opportunity for health professionals to familiarize with safety aspects of drug treatments within healthcare process. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend outstanding talks and to participate in discussions on hot topics.
This ONCO Pharmacovigilance Conference arises in the framework of the ONCONET SUDOE European project, whose main objective is to generate an area of cooperation in Oncology among research centers, universities, health institutions and companies.

Why should you attend PharmV?

The “Onco Pharmacovigilance Conference” will provide an overview of activities performed across the entire lifecycle of medicines used in Oncology, from R&D to post-marketing clinical practice, including legal, regulatory and ethical aspects of pharmacovigilance, scientific and methodological approaches used to monitor safety of medicines, as well as clinical, social and economic impact of adverse drug reactions.

The ONCO Pharmacovigilance Conference Coimbra 2019 has been held in the Convento Sao Francisco. Located next to the Mondego River, this historic building is close to major hotels and services, and easy to reach by public transport and on foot.
The Convento de Sao Francisco is one of Coimbra's main cultural hubs, supporting artistic residences and promoting the excellent cultural programme that the city has to offer. As a congress centre, the Convento Sao Francisco is part of the international business tourism circuit and regularly hosts large and prestigious events.
